I had the pleasure of speaking to this group of kids involved with DECA in Monroe County. If you aren't familiar with DECA, they are an organization that "…has impacted the lives of more than 10 million students, educators, school administrators and business professionals since it was founded in 1946. …DECA’s programs and activities have constantly evolved as [they] use the latest technology and apply cutting edge educational research." More than 3,500 high schools participate in DECA.
This group of kids is helping to shape the future. So, of course I was honored to be their keynote speaker.
